The Chi absolutely broke my little heart. I was very unsatisfied with it, but my brothers girlfriend who has very coarse thick hair loves it. My current flat iron is on its last leg so I may have to look at this one. living here in Germany we can't just go to Sally's/JCPennys etc. to buy a flat iron. So THANK YOU for this review. p.s. I'm jealous you can do it yourself! LOL!!! I have no idea what ceramic iron my stylist uses, but I know she doesn't recommend Chi. I'm surprised you relax your hair.
